Powers of Attorney for non-Italians

Information about Powers of Attorney for non-Italians

Consulates General of Italy issue Powers of Attorney only to Italian citizens who have a valid Italian photo id. Those who are not Italian citizens and who need this type of document can sign it before a Notary Public or contact one of the “Patronati” in the list indicating Notary Public - Power of Attorney (please pick one of your own choice) and then have the Notary’s signature legalized with the Apostille. If the “Procura” is in English, please have it translated in Italian and have the translation legalized with a second Apostille.
